MagiX Music Mixer Virtual DJ and Complaints about Computers

Well, i'm thining that the school could use a new music mixing program for different audio visual projects, you know? There's one that I've been using at home, and I like it a lot. It works quite well. Unfortunately the computer is now a piece of sh*t because my cousin took Windows Vista off of it and that is the only operating system that works on it even though Vista sucks, and then he tried to put Windows XP on it, but it stopped working because the copy of the operating system was bootlegged, so then he took the backup disc of my aunt's Windows Vista buuuutttt......to activate it he needed a product key. Which...he got off of Limewire. It worked for one day and one day only. Now the computer is unusable until we get a new operating system. Or a new CD key. Which sucks because it means that I lost all of my photos and everything I worked so hard on that was on that computer. Bah.
But the school really should get MagiX Music Mixer Virtual DJ.

Back From the Holidays

Well, here we are again, back to what some call "prison" but what the government insists on calling "school". Things are pretty much the way they were before the holidays, and that could be both good and bad I guess. I'm working on my photography portfolio again. Just saving some of my old photos from DeviantART to this computer so that I can use them. ...Yup.
Got my tablet for Christmas. I would be more excited about it right now if I weren't so tired and bored. I was really excited when I got it. I love that tablet. Got a new camera too, but I'm not quite sure how to fix it or to adjust the shutter speed. Oh well. I'll figure it out.

Evening of the Arts

Well, it's Wednesday, December 12, 2007, and tonight is our Evening of the Arts. It takes place tonight from 6-9 at White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School in the foyer. 73 pieces of artwork will be for sale, the school band will be performing several songs, and some of the drama students will be performing interpretive dance and such.
I'm pretty ecxited about it, I guess. I just hope that I sell at least one thing. If I did, I'd be pretty happy. The only thing that bugs me is that all of my artwork really sucks, and everyone else did better stuff, but I'm the one that everyone expects do to the best work. I don't really know why it bugs me so much but it does.
Oh well.

I felt like posting something today. Here's a picture I did in photoshop. I call it...Roomies. Or at least....Soon to be Roomies.

Happy Suit Day

Haha you know what? Today's Suit Day. The day where you wear a suit to school for no real reason. And so....I am wearing a suit....and so is Nik. And maybe some other people. I don't think so though. Hm....I like cheese. I'm very bored so I'm just typing random things.....Haha.

Woo

Hrm....just have to finish up my Remembrance Day page and the other page before I can start on girl's basketball. And all I have to do to finish it is put the little folio thing in the corner. Woo. I got assigned to part of the yearDVD tomorrow. Again: woo.

Camera

Due to the shortage of video clips and such for our yearbook DVD or YearDVD, we are facing certain complications. This is mainly due to the school only owning one video camera. However, I believe I have a solution to this problem. At the beginning of the year, we were told that we may browse ebay to compare prices on good cameras and such. Well, while browsing yesterday, I found something that I really happen to like. A Digital camcorder that is also a digital camera, an mp3 player, a usb storage device and a mpeg4 movie player. I also believe that several of these, if ordered for the school next year could possibly help us a ton with our projects. So, as we speak, I am in the process of bidding on one such camera for my own, to use for Communications Tech, and yearbook, as well as my own personal purposes. If the camera is of good quality, takes good photos and can be ordered for a cheap enough price, then we may just be able to buy a few for the school for next year. I hope. ;)
